The personal information we collect is generally obtained directly from you when you make an enquiry to buy goods or services from us or provided to us by property management companies on your behalf. When you buy goods or services from us you are entering into a contract with us. We use your personal information for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations. Contract – your personal information is processed to fulfil a contractual arrangement e.g. order of goods and services.

Legitimate Interest – the interests of Ockley Plumbing Ltd in managing our business to allow us to provide you with the best possible goods and services in the most secure way.

How we store your information

We hold and process all your personal information securely within our offices by authorised staff. We normally hold your personal information for a maximum of seven years after completion of contract and dispose of it as confidential waste to an on-site shredding company. We delete data that is held electronically.

Who do we share your personal information with?

Supplier Partners – We work with a number of trusted suppliers who supply us products and services. A minimum amount of personal information will be shared in order to fulfil the orders you place e.g if goods are delivered directly to you from the supplier.

Delivery Partners – Occasionally we may use a delivery partners in order for you to receive your goods. Again, only limited information will be passed to them in order to fulfil your order.

Payment processing – We work with a trusted third party payment processing provider in order to securely take payments. We DO NOT store credit/debit card details. In the event of a refund processed via bacs payment, details will be held on banking records for audit purposes only.

We may share your information when requested to do so by our professional advisers & service providers (e.g. auditors) or when legally required to statutory authorities.

Safeguarding your personal information

We take all reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure. Access to your personal information is restricted to prevent unauthorised access, modification or misuse. Only authorised employees and agents are permitted to access your personal information on a need-to-know basis.
